Clean Plate Cleanse

I FINISHED THE 21-DAY CLEANSE: It has changed my life and the way I look at food. I plan to completely embrace most all of the things that I learned in this past three weeks. I have reversed my take of insulin, I am no longer taking preventative blood pressure meds, my post-surgery foot wound is healing exponentially fast now and the total weight loss is 19 lbs. When I met Jen, I was 270 lbs. She is quite a beautiful incentive and between November and April I had lost 18 lbs to 252 lbs. and now here I sit at 233 lbs. My foot will be healed shortly and I will then venture into the gym. Watch out world, I am a man with a purpose. I will not be stopped. -Michael Moran, Pittsburgh, PA

Why cleanse?

Over time your colon acquires a mucoid plaque. Mucoid plaque is a term coined by Richard Anderson and is used to describe a rubbery, rope-like, generally green gel-like mucus film that covers the epithelial cells of the alimentary canal. Anderson and others claim that this plaque can impair digestion and absorption of nutrients, host pathogens, and cause diarrhea, bowel cancer, allergies and skin conditions.

A diet rich in animal products, fats, and sugar and low in fiber (aka a typical North American Diet) slows intestinal transit time, which is the time it takes from the ingestion of food until you eliminate. When one eats this type of diet, transit time can range from two days to nearly one week. People who eat diets high in fiber have transit times closer to one day, which is a great deal more healthful.

Are you ready to say farewell to your resident mucoid plaque and experience the benefits for yourself?

Is it time to wipe the proverbial health slate clean?

The Clean Plate Cleanse™ is a gentle, guided, whole-foods based detox program designed with you in mind!

The Clean Plate Cleanse™ kicks off with a nutrition workshop that will introduce you to a spectrum of flavors and food that nourishes your body – from whole grains, glorious greens, beans & legumes, sea vegetables, good fats (yes, you need fat!), natural sweeteners and natural herbs and spices.

Then we will jumpstart your journey with a detox plan that is purely whole foods-based. This is not a ‘fast’ but rather a gentle weekly plan that is designed to nurture your body – we will focus on real, seasonal, delicious food and give your body a break from low-nutrition, processed, difficult to digest and high-allergenic foods.

The Clean Plate Cleanse™ is designed to support all phases of detoxification.

How does it work?

The program runs for three consecutive weeks, two times a year (spring and fall). Each week with begin with a teleclass that will cover the details of the program, the goals for that week and some background information exploring the science behind cleansing.  These teleclasses are optional but encouraged — you will be able to ask your coaches questions as well as hear your peers’ own experiences and questions. Email and a private Facebook group will also be available for daily questions and feedback.

Success comes with support!

The program includes:
  • General Handouts downloadable from the Clean Plate Cleanse website
  • Planning charts, recipes and goal setting worksheets
  • 3 informative teleclasses (live and recorded)
  • Daily support via email and a closed Facebook Group
You will:

  • Explore new foods
  • Understand and reduce cravings
  • Increase energy

Food changes everything. As your daily diet changes, your body changes and your happiness improves.
