Project: Food Budget Weeks 23 & 24

Posted on by on June 14th, 2012 | 2 Comments »

Tip of the Week: Menu plan, it saves money!! I started this project 6 months ago. For 24 full weeks I have tracked every cent we have spent on food. And in 24 weeks we went from spending about $1200/month on food to less than $900/month! Note: not one single coupon used. This week I am celebrating! (Cue: pat on back.) Our family is going on vacation next week, so I will get a break from menu planning and food preparation, but I will take this opportunity to track our vacation food spending;) So stay tuned for some eating on the go tips. I leave you with 14 supper ideas.
