Project: Food Budget Week 32

Tip of the Week: Price compare. I typically shop later in the week after the sale flyers have been delivered. Then I plan my shopping around the sales. Also, when shopping warehouse stores be careful not everything is cheaper or necessary. This is why I limit shopping at Costco to once per month.

Week 32 Spending

Budget:

$200/week or $800/month

$200/month at Costco

Total: $1000/month

Ouch, the last 4 weeks hurt the budget. I was doing well for so many months. What happened? Company, two trips to Costco and a lack of planning, together blew the budget. Once structure is restored in the fall, I WILL get back on track.

Asian Slaw with Peanut-Ginger Sauce (*I will use almonds)

Lentil Chili

Black Bean Quesadillas

   You still did well this month, and whatever you bought at Costco is likely to last a while which will help you out next month.
